About The Position

People's Express is seeking Chauffeur Drivers to transport clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, work, and personal events. The role involves working with a diverse clientele, primarily seniors and individuals with disabilities, many of whom may use mobility devices. Vehicles are equipped with lifts to accommodate these clients. The position requires patience, sensitivity, and a commitment to ensuring passenger safety. Drivers will operate various vehicles, including cars, minivans, and Transit Vans.

Requirements

Minimum of a chauffeur license required.
A good driving record.
Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening.
Holder of a CDL medical card or able to obtain one.
Experience as a van driver: 3 years (Required).
License/Certification: Chauffeur's or CDL with a P Endorsement (Required).
Shift availability: Afternoon Shift (required).
Able to board and secure clients who use mobility devices.
Ensure the safety of passengers during transportation.

Nice To Haves

Preferable availability of 5 days a week or 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Assist clients who use mobility devices, including boarding and securing them.
Ensure the safety of passengers during transportation.
