About The Position

The CHAT Project Manager reports to the Project Director and is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the ACL-INNU-funded Clinics Helping Adults Thrive (CHAT) project. This role manages project timelines, data, and budgets to ensure effective implementation and compliance with grant requirements. The Project Manager collaborates with multiple colleges and departments to align project activities, serves as a liaison among project faculty, community practices, the funding agency, and other stakeholders, and supports the preparation of required reports. Additionally, this position contributes to the development of promotional and educational materials, assists with resource development, and performs other related duties as assigned. This position is contingent on continued grant funding.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of rural and community health issues, with an emphasis on the needs of older adult populations.
  • Knowledge of standard office software applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.
  • Ability to coordinate and support complex, multi-faceted projects with multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate meetings, including preparing materials and documenting outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities, demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assist with budget tracking, purchasing processes, and travel coordination in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in academic and healthcare environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least one year in training and/or experience in project management, health-related research, or community-based projects OR A combination of education and work experience.
