About The Position

We are looking for a Live Chat Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales team. This is not a customer service role. This is a real-time, chat-based sales position focused on converting inbound inquiries into revenue. You’ll engage customers through live chat, qualify opportunities, and drive sales by recommending the right products, upselling, and routing high-value leads to our sales team. Success in this role requires experience handling multiple live chat conversations and working within Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales-focused role using live chat or similar real-time channels
  • Professional level written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM
  • Proven ability to convert inbound inquiries into sales
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with sales methodologies and discovery processes
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • post-secondary diploma preferred
  • Spanish and/or French an asset

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in real-time via live chat to drive sales conversions and answer product questions
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products
  • Actively upsell and cross-sell based on use case and requirements
  • Qualify inbound leads and route high-potential opportunities to sales
  • Use Salesforce to review and update contact profiles
  • Distinguish between sales opportunities and service inquiries
  • Support order-related questions (availability, shipping, backorders)
  • Provide product guidance, comparisons, and competitor cross-reference
  • Communicate Superior Glove’s value and differentiators clearly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely responses
  • Build strong relationships with distributers and end-users
  • Share insights from customer interactions to improve sales strategy
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving sales targets
