The Chassis Systems Engineer is responsible for integrating the chassis components into a vehicle level system. This role will partner closely with D&R engineers, Vehicle Engineering, Vehicle Dynamics, and cross-functional teams to establish vehicle kinematic and compliance targets, maintain system health chart documentation, support development milestones, and ensure chassis-related data, ADAMS models, and test outputs align with program requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and experience working across prototype and production vehicle builds. This position requires the ability to translate test data and engineering requirements into actionable recommendations that support chassis component development, vehicle dynamics performance, durability readiness, and milestone deliverables. Occasional travel may be required to support vehicle development and supplier reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
  • Demonstrated results in chassis systems, vehicle dynamics, vehicle architecture, or suspension component engineering required, with experience at different phases of the vehicle product lifecycle.
  • Experience with ADAMS vehicle dynamics CAE modeling software required
  • Strong knowledge of chassis systems and how they interface with the other vehicle systems required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
