About The Position
Heritage Truck Equipment, a leading manufacturer of custom truck bodies, is seeking skilled welders to join our production team. With over 20 years of consistent growth, we offer a stable work environment, competitive pay, and exceptional benefits. This is a full-time, first shift position with a schedule of 50+ hours per week.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding of steel
- Proven experience in cutting steel using plasma cutters
- Ability to read tape a measure and interpret blue prints
- Knowledge and use basic hand tools
- Strong work history with reliable attendance
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation to our Hartville facility
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut chassis frames per work instructions
- Install hinge assemblies, cross members and pintle plates as required
- Perform MIG welding on steel components ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards
- Drill holes and bolt on components when required
- Collaborate with Team members to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
