About The Position

ConGlobal is hiring a Chassis Mechanic for its supply chain operations in Garden City, Georgia. This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing trailers, chassis, and containers to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards. The technician diagnoses and repairs components, inspects equipment for roadworthiness, and documents completed work. The position requires working independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Experience in chassis, trailer, or container repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of brake systems, lights, tires, and framework.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license.
Must have a basic set of hand tools.
Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Basic welding skills.
Previous experience working in a depot, port, terminal, or intermodal setting.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on chassis, trailers, and containers.
Diagnose and repair or replace lights, tires, landing legs, brakes, and framework.
Conduct minor welding and fabrication as needed.
Inspect equipment to identify issues and ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards.
Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
