About The Position

As an Automotive Technician at Maintainer Corporation of Iowa (MCI), your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the hydraulic system in our chassis department. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, working closely with the engineering and production teams to install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic components. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a hydraulic technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Associate degree or certification in hydraulic technology or a related field.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the automotive or heavy equipment sector.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire hydraulic components in chassis according to engineering specifications and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential failures.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to develop and implement improvements in hydraulic system design and installation processes.
• Document all hydraulic work performed, including repairs, modifications, and upgrades, in accordance with company procedures.
