About The Position

We are currently hiring an enthusiastic and motivated Charity Events Assistant (Entry-Level) to support the planning and execution of charity events, nonprofit fundraisers, and community outreach programs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in Event Coordination, Nonprofit Fundraising, Community Outreach, Event Marketing & Promotions, Donor Engagement, Public Relations, Volunteer Coordination, and Customer Service & Guest Relations. No prior experience is required. We provide paid training, hands-on event experience, and ongoing mentorship to help you build confidence and develop a strong foundation in nonprofit event operations and community-focused marketing.

As a Charity Events Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting mission-driven events that raise awareness, engage local communities, and support nonprofit fundraising initiatives. You will work closely with event coordinators and team members to ensure successful event execution from setup through completion. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking real-world experience in nonprofit event planning, fundraising support, and community engagement.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required
• College coursework in communications, marketing, nonprofit studies, public relations, or related fields is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in fast-paced environments
• Positive, coachable, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events
• Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, event planning, or community engagement
• No experience required — full paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of charity and fundraising events
• Support on-site event logistics and day-of event coordination
• Help manage volunteers and assist with event operations
• Engage professionally with attendees, donors, sponsors, and community members
• Handle event registration, guest sign-ins, and participant coordination
• Collect attendee feedback and assist with post-event reporting and campaign tracking
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful event outcomes
• Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic event environment
