About The Position

Are you an experienced Telemetry RN with a passion for leadership, patient advocacy, and clinical excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Telemetry Charge Nurse to provide shift oversight, support frontline caregivers, and ensure exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. In this influential leadership role, you will serve as the clinical resource and operational leader for the department, coordinating patient care activities, supporting nursing staff, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

Current, active, and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
At least 2 years' experience and knowledge as a Charge or Lead RN in acute hospital setting
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Responsibilities

Provides clinical and operational leadership for the assigned shift, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing practice standards.
Coordinates staffing assignments, oversees unit workflow, supports patient care delivery, and serves as a mentor and clinical resource to nursing staff.
Maintains direct patient care responsibilities while directing shift operations, resolving issues in real time, facilitating effective communication across disciplines, and ensuring a productive and supportive care environment.
