About The Position
Messiah Lifeways is seeking a part-time Charge Nurse for its Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team at Messiah Home in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The nurse will help lead care teams serving adults age 55 and older, providing compassionate, person-centered care. The role works evening hours from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday. The posted pay range is $27.00 to $32.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
- Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in gerontology or long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately.
- Assess and monitor residents’ health and promptly communicate changes.
- Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
- Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and other team members.
- Collaborate on individualized care plans.
- Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
