About The Position
Messiah Lifeways is seeking a part-time Charge Nurse for its Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team, serving adults 55 and older. The nurse will lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team and help provide compassionate, person-centered care. The shift is 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with work every other weekend and holiday.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
- Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in gerontology or long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately.
- Assess and monitor resident health and promptly communicate changes.
- Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
- Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and other team members.
- Collaborate on individualized care plans.
- Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
