About The Position
Sunrise Retirement is seeking a Part-Time, 1st Shift Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to join their team. This role involves providing direct resident care, supervising nursing staff, managing staffing patterns for quality care, and offering emergency services to the independent living community. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
- Must have a current nursing license and be allowed to practice nursing in a qualifying state.
- Able to perform all nursing duties following long-term care regulations and procedures relevant to the charge nurse scope of practice.
- Able to problem-solve situations and come up with interventions and solutions.
- Able to supervise nursing assistants and have some supervisor experience.
- Able to attend all mandatory trainings and keep current on all certifications (CPR, Mandatory Reporter, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct assessment and care to the residents of this facility.
- Provide supervision of nursing department employees and evaluation staffing patterns to ensure quality care to all residents.
- Provide emergency services to the residents of independent living community.
- Provide quality care with a positive attitude and great customer service.
