About The Position
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role is vital in the mission to make communities healthier. The Medical Surgical Department, where this role is situated, fosters a culture of teamwork and effective communication, providing clinical care for patients from Neonatal to Geriatric age groups.
Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
