About The Position

Cottonwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for a Full-Time Night Shift position. The center's mission is to treat staff like family, recognizing them as their most important customers and committing to treating employees as assets and family members. This role involves supervising and supporting nursing staff, coordinating resident care, administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance, and completing documentation. The Charge Nurse will also assist with staffing assignments, provide guidance, and professionally address concerns from residents, families, and staff.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a Compact State
Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff while providing exceptional resident care

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift
Coordinate resident care and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team
Ensure quality resident care and compliance with all state and federal regulations
Follow all facility policies and procedures
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Assist with staffing assignments and provide guidance to nursing staff
Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional manner
Other duties as assigned
