About The Position

Our Progressive Care team is looking for a Charge RN to join its team. Charge RN will work under the direction of the Nursing Director, works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff in designated service area(s). May provide direct patient care. This unit will begin working in a progressive/acute care environment providing intermediate levels of care for patients and will be cross trained in the ICU. This Neuro Specialty Unit will take a mix of higher acuity patients to include long term trachs and drips that need monitoring.

Requirements

Minimum one year of nursing experience required
Associate Degree in Nursing minimum from an accredited academic nursing program
State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
