About The Position
Seeking a Charge Nurse for a Full-Time position in the Operating Room. This role involves working three days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with a weekly call requirement and occasional weekend duties. The Charge Nurse will act as a resource for the department, providing front-line leadership for care coordination during designated shifts. This position involves working alongside the team, providing direct patient care, determining staffing needs, responding to departmental concerns, addressing staff issues, and coordinating patient flow. The opportunity is within a Regional, Non-Profit, Community Hospital that offers comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care and promotes continued education and growth.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Active RN license in the state of Indiana
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- One year of nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- One year of nursing experience in area of specialty preferred
Responsibilities
