About The Position

Mansfield Medical Lodge is seeking a Charge Nurse LVN to provide nursing care for assigned residents and contribute to the facility’s long-term senior care team. The role works with the Medical Director, attending physicians, Director of Nursing, and clinical staff. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The employer describes opportunities to develop nursing skills and support residents and coworkers.

Requirements

• Hold a current LPN/LVN or RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the Medical Director and attending physician regarding assigned residents.
• Consult with physicians concerning resident evaluations and assist the Director of Nursing with planning and developing nursing services for residents.
• Help team members grow their careers.
• Examine residents and their records and charts to identify normal and abnormal findings and recognize early signs of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
• Complete administrative duties for assigned residents, including medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
