About The Position

Community Health Network is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Charge Analyst responsible for reviewing medical records, orders, and clinical documentation to ensure accurate and compliant charge capture. This role partners with clinical staff and leadership to identify documentation opportunities, prevent revenue loss, and support revenue integrity across assigned departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in medical record review, coding, billing, charging, or revenue integrity required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency with Microsoft Office is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Clinical experience and familiarity with Epic or other healthcare information systems are strongly preferred.

  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through AHIMA.
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) through AHIMA.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in Indiana through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license eligible to practice in Indiana through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Responsibilities

  • Review medical records and clinical documentation to identify and capture appropriate charges.
  • Conduct audits and reconciliation activities to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant charge capture.
  • Run daily reports and worklists to identify missing or incomplete charges.
  • Review documentation within Epic and other applicable systems to support revenue capture activities.
  • Partner with clinical and operational departments to improve documentation quality and charging processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of current coding updates, billing regulations, and payer requirements.
  • Support training, onboarding, and education initiatives related to revenue capture and documentation practices.
