About The Position

We are looking for a Project Manager F/M for our subsidiary Solutions Latesys based in Brossard. We offer you a stimulating position at the heart of large-scale technical projects, in complex industrial environments, particularly in the aeronautics, transport, energy, or defense sectors. As a project manager, you will be responsible for one or more manufacturing projects in parallel, in a multi-client context, with a high level of demand in terms of quality, safety, performance, and deadlines. You will be involved from the pre-sales phases, through structuring, operational monitoring, and economic management, to final delivery. You will also ensure the leadership of multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a strategic relationship with our clients in North America.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent
• 8 to 10 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, including at least 3 years in manufacturing project management with client interface in a structured industrial environment (aeronautics, transport, energy, defense, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, with significant operational stakes
• Demonstrated experience in functional management of technical teams and proximity leadership
• Solid skills in client relations and communication
• Good command of project management tools (MS Project, Excel, collaborative tools)
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (Welding, Machining, NDT)
• Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for tenders
• Analyze specifications and understand technical and operational needs
• Identify risks, structure work packages, and define the project approach
• Participate in the drafting and negotiation of technical and financial proposals
• Manage complex technical projects
• Structure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a multi-client context
• Oversee the implementation of robust technical solutions that meet requirements
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and workload plans
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and contractual commitments
• Ensure overall project performance
• Monitor progress (quality, costs, deadlines, risks) using appropriate tools and indicators
• Manage action plans and anticipate deviations
• Lead internal coordination meetings and project reviews
• Capitalize on lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure a high level of client relationship
• Be the main point of contact for clients throughout the project
• Guarantee client satisfaction through transparent and proactive communication
• Negotiate technical, contractual, or budgetary adjustments as needed
• Ensure compliance with initial requirements and agreed-upon changes
• Manage and mobilize project teams
• Functionally manage the project team (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain)
