In addition to managing various projects, you will have the opportunity to lay the groundwork for the service in the region and, in the medium term, to build and lead your own local team. As a Building Systems Commissioning Project Manager, you will oversee various projects, in collaboration with engineering experts, to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of building systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy efficiency, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in commissioning, building engineering, or energy management.
  • Excellent understanding of building electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with rigor and organization.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to mentor and guide colleagues and partners.
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
  • Good command of Office 365 Suite and project management tools.

Nice To Haves

  • BCxP, CBCP, or RC certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate commissioning activities on small to medium-sized projects.
  • Update and communicate the progress of activities to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to develop and adjust project timelines.
  • Write service offers, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Ensure technical supervision and verification of work.
  • Ensure the conformity of installations to performance standards and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in commissioning tests and trials, identify deficiencies, and ensure rigorous follow-up.
  • Work in close collaboration with engineers, project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in site meetings and propose solutions for process optimization.
  • Write meeting minutes and ensure complete and accurate documentation of tests and interventions.
