About The Position

We are looking for a Project Manager – Compressed Air Networks to join our sales team. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing and costing compressed air network projects tailored to customer needs. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, from information gathering through to coordination of execution. You will also contribute to optimizing proposals to deliver high-performance and competitive solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in estimating, design, or technical project management, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • College diploma in a technical field such as mechanical or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Understanding of compressed air systems, building mechanics, or a strong interest in developing this knowledge.
  • Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills, with a customer- and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to understand and clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Structured and rigorous approach to project management, with strong prioritization skills.
  • Autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to efficiently navigate multiple software tools.
  • Proficiency in French and English (many of our clients are outside Quebec, making bilingualism essential).
  • Only candidates legally authorized to work in Canada will be considered in the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and understand project needs and technical specifications from clients or Territory Sales Managers.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications to incorporate all elements into the solutions to be developed.
  • Design compressed air network proposals that are efficient and tailored to project requirements.
  • Develop bills of materials required for project execution.
  • Prepare quotations, taking into account the client’s budget and the established price list.
  • Identify and propose optimization opportunities (energy efficiency, pressure drop reduction, network reliability) to improve the quality of proposed solutions.
  • Propose alternatives or replacement products in case of unavailability.
  • Plan delivery and installation timelines based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Territory Sales Managers to support sales activities while they are on the road.
  • Contribute to team activities, including ensuring post-sale follow-ups and responding to requests received through the sales team’s general inbox.
