Chaplain - Part time

About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a part-time spiritual care coordinator or chaplain to provide spiritual care support and guidance that honors patients’ beliefs and values. Working with the care team, the chaplain will develop, implement, and supervise spiritual care for patients and their families, helping ensure they are treated with dignity and compassion. The role calls for someone committed to supporting patients and families and providing care during life-limiting illness. Pay is determined by years of experience and location.

Requirements

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a health care or hospice setting.
Proof of at least one Clinical Pastoral Unit (CPU).
Reliable transportation.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently, and to lift at least 25 pounds and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

Nice To Haves

Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services is preferred.
