About The Position
The chaplain performs the duties and responsibilities of a professional chaplain within Prisma Health. The role delivers direct service and professional pastoral care and serves as a liaison between the hospital system and the religious community. The chaplain is responsible to the Director of Pastoral Care Services. This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Requirements
- Master of Divinity or Theological Studies.
- One year of ministry experience. Four units of CPE may be considered equivalent to one year of pastoral care experience.
- Licensed, endorsed, and ordained by a faith or denominational group (Lawson Code COTR).
- One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education is required.
