About The Position

Salina Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Chaplain to serve as an integral part of its team. The Chaplain provides spiritual, religious, and personal counseling, guidance, and services to residents, residents’ families, and staff, helping them understand life’s journey in relation to spiritual and emotional wholeness. The role recognizes each individual’s primacy in life decisions and advances the value that the resident comes first. The Chaplain values the community as the residents’ home and helps create a home-like environment while modeling person-centered services. Salina Presbyterian Manor describes its culture as focused on learning, growth, and engagement, rooted in its heritage as a faith-based, nonprofit organization. The team is dedicated to providing residents with a positive experience and quality of life and care.

Requirements

A lay person with training from an endorsed faith group in good standing.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in church, ministry-related, or pastoral care.
Clinical pastoral education (CPE) equivalent to a minimum of one unit in an accredited program.
Seminary degree.
Experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities
