About The Position

Chaplains are frontline staff fulfilling MCHAP’s mission and Christian ministry by using their gifts and talents to serve company employees and their immediate families. Chaplains may offer confidential pastoral discussions, connect people with specialized assistance, provide support around funerals and grief, visit employees or family members in jail, and help companies support people affected by serious injuries, deaths, or other tragedies. The Chaplain may also provide post-termination care, facilitate employee-led spiritual enrichment activities, share relevant literature and resources, represent companies in appropriate ministry-related situations, and participate in new employee orientation. With permission from the Executive Director of Operations, the Chaplain may perform other requested duties within the scope of the agreement between MCHAP and the company. Assigned hours are generally consistent from week to week, but there are no guaranteed minimum hours; position needs vary based on Chaplain availability and client requirements.
