About The Position

Works with other members of the Spiritual Services staff to provide spiritual care to patients, visitors, and health care staff at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. This is a per diem, on-site position at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Required education is an undergraduate degree from a CHEA-member-accredited college, university, or theological school, along with at least one unit of qualifying Clinical Pastoral Education. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education are preferred. Active faith community or chaplaincy experience, written ecclesiastical endorsement for ministry in a specialized setting, and ordination or commissioning to provide spiritual care are preferred.

Requirements

Completion of an undergraduate degree from a college, university, or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Satisfactory completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE, NACC, or an equivalent organization.

Nice To Haves

Active faith community or chaplaincy experience.

Written ecclesiastical endorsement by a faith group for ministry in a specialized setting.
Ordination or commissioning to function in a ministry of spiritual care by an appropriate religious authority.
