About The Position
The Resource Chaplain delivers expert spiritual care, crisis intervention and support of patients, their supporting community, and IU Health colleagues. Responsible for on-call services as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited preferably through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of spiritual care experience in a related field
Nice To Haves
- Master of Divinity Degree or its equivalency from an accredited institution as certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains or cognate body with similar standards
- Endorsement and maintenance of endorsement by a religious community
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert spiritual care
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients, their supporting community, and IU Health colleagues
