About The Position
Provides spiritual support to patients, families and staff on assigned units through the John Muir Health system. The Chaplain Resident fulfills the ACPE accredited program requirements.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
- Basic Pastoral Skills.
- Demonstrates empathy and compassion.
- Reflects theologically.

- College Level Coursework CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education - One (1) unit
- 1 year Healthcare - Spiritual Care
- Healthcare - Chaplaincy
- Experience in Hospital ministry
- Ordination in Recognized Faith Group
- Faith Group Endorsement
- Sensitivity to diverse religious and cultural practices and values.
- Maintains professional and personal integrity.
