About The Position

This after-hours position provides supportive spiritual and emotional care to patients, families, and staff of Swedish Health Services. The chaplain also serves as a liaison between patients and families and community clergy. Work is performed outside normal business hours on an intermittent and sporadic basis to provide necessary after-hours services. There is no FTE associated with this position.

The role is part of Swedish Shared Services and Providence, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.

Requirements

• Completion of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
• One year in ministry.
• Experience in a medical setting.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Divinity.
• Previous experience using an electronic medical record.
