Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's of Divinity or its equivalent from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) accredited theological school in progress.
• 1 Year Experience in ministry setting with some supervision.
• Presents self well and demonstrates good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work with and relate to people of all faiths, cultures, nationalities, identities and differences.
• Ability to offer non-anxious presence and work with people in times of crisis and loss, providing compassionate care.
• Proficiently documents patient care in the electronic medical record and makes appropriate referrals to staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide religious/spiritual rituals when requested by patients or staff.
• Know when to ask area clergy to provide special and appropriate needs.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Make appropriate referrals to staff.
• Work effectively with HIPAA rules and regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
