Job Summary: Provide spiritual care for patients, families, and colleagues. Provide objective, patient/family/colleague-centered crisis intervention and spiritual support throughout the institution.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in divinity (seventy-two (72) semester hours minimum) from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) accredited educational institution.
• Four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
• Ecclesiastical endorsement from the incumbent’s/candidate’s faith group.
• Chaplain certification from one (1) of the following bodies: Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), National Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC), Association of Certified Christian Chaplains (ACCC), Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC), or National Association of Veteran’s Administration Chaplains (NAVAC) within two (2) years post-hire.
• No federal or state license required.
