This position collaborates with staff to assess, address, and document the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families. The Chaplain Associate will triage and minister amidst crises, loss, and grief. They will also contact clergy of other faiths as requested by patients and families, provide sacraments as appropriate, and offer spiritual and emotional support to staff. The role requires the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the age of the patients served, understanding principles of growth and development across the lifespan, and assessing patient status to meet age-specific needs.
