About The Position

Support patients and their loved ones by providing compassionate spiritual counsel that respects diverse cultural backgrounds and personal beliefs during times of emotional distress. Assess the spiritual needs of our community—including staff and families—and document these care journeys to ensure a holistic approach to healing and well-being. Guide families and medical teams through complex ethical decisions, offering a values-based perspective that brings clarity and peace to difficult healthcare choices. Lead the development and delivery of spiritual programs, prayers, and blessings that weave a sense of sacredness and community support into the daily life of the local ministry.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.
1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE required.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Human Behavior or a related field preferred.
2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE preferred.
2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
