About The Position

Paychex is hiring an early-career sales professional to help small businesses with 1–99 employees manage payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance. The associate generates business through CPA and client referral partners as well as outbound outreach, building relationships and managing a high-volume, fast-paced sales cycle. The role owns the sales process from prospecting through closing, with typical deal cycles of 1–2 weeks. The position offers uncapped earning potential, performance incentives, and award trips, along with opportunities to develop sales skills in a high-growth environment. Compensation is typically $51,000–$81,000, including base pay and commissions; actual compensation may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant sales or marketing capacity.
Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or a similar environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience through work, school, nonprofits, clubs, or other organizations.
Comfort with high activity levels, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
Resilience, drive, competitive motivation, and coachability; ability to quickly apply feedback.
