About The Position

Paychex is hiring a Channel Sales Associate to help small businesses with 1–99 employees succeed through payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance solutions. The role focuses on developing business through trusted referral partners, particularly CPAs, and client referrals, as well as outbound outreach. The associate builds relationships, identifies opportunities, and manages a fast-paced sales cycle from prospecting through closing, typically lasting 1–2 weeks. The position offers performance incentives and award trips, skill development in a high-volume sales environment, and opportunities to help small businesses grow and stay compliant.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role.
Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or a similar environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience through work, school, nonprofits, clubs, or other organizations.
Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
Coachability and ability to apply feedback quickly.
Comfort with high activity, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
High school diploma.

Early-career sales background with 1–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
