About The Position

The primary function of this role is to drive existing and new business opportunities and growth for the company and be the primary contact for all assigned national accounts. This role involves achieving sales plans and market share targets by creating and executing business plans that align with goals. The Channel Sales Advisor will develop, recommend, and present new items and programs to increase brand presence and assortment, and analyze metrics and tools to identify new opportunities and strategies to drive business. This position requires cross-functional collaboration with Product Line Managers, Marketing, IT, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Sales teams to support accounts. The role also involves collaborating with Product Line Managers to identify and implement best sales growth opportunities for the channel, building consistency and alignment with existing customers, and managing the sales and service required to ensure all aspects of account management are handled promptly and efficiently. Additionally, the Channel Sales Advisor will research current customer trends and best practices, recommend pricing and rebate structures, manage and deliver on expense budgets, develop and monitor the competitive landscape, and review contracts, customer documentation, and rebate structures with leadership and the legal department.

Requirements

  • Outstanding sales skills, including Salesforce utilization
  • Ability to develop goals and implement procedures to achieve them
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Solid business acumen to identify profitable opportunities
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales experience with demonstrated sales growth results
