About The Position

Ramp's Accounting Channel is experiencing significant growth, and as an early member of the team, you will have the chance to contribute to scaling the go-to-market engine and strategy that drives a key growth area for the company. Ramp is seeking candidates with a proven history of establishing and nurturing new relationships with accounting and advisory partners, enabling and training their teams, and consistently achieving and exceeding sales quotas through client referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Partner Sales, Business Development, Partnership Management, Full-Cycle Sales, or Channel Partnerships.
  • Strong discovery skills with an ability to identify pain points and engage in consultative selling.
  • Demonstrated history of being a top performer, consistently exceeding targets and quotas.
  • Commitment to daily tracking and improvement of performance and efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong listening abilities.
  • A proactive approach and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator capable of building relationships across the company.
  • Experience with and enthusiasm for AI tools that enhance work.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience partnering with accounting firms in a consulting, sales, or partnerships role.
  • Background or proficiency in accounting.
  • Experience in a direct sales closing role.

Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify, and conduct in-depth discovery with new Accounting partners.
  • Establish partnerships and develop comprehensive go-to-market plans.
  • Generate revenue for Ramp by securing client referrals from accounting firms.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with various stakeholders within accounting firms.
  • Educate accounting firms on Ramp's offerings and communicate value propositions.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with key accounting partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering teams to drive co-marketing initiatives, onboard new clients, and influence the product roadmap.
  • Develop expertise in Ramp's product, features, and workflows.
  • Create new workflows and sales processes, and enhance existing ones, to support the team's ongoing success.
