About The Position

Sola is at $5M ARR and growing fast. We built the only weather-data-driven wind and hail homeowners policy in the market, and demand has outpaced everything we expected. Over 4,000 independent agencies are already on a waitlist to sell our product. We're hiring a Territory Sales Manager to own the growth of our independent agency channel. This is a role with real ownership, not a handed-down playbook. You'll help build how we scale distribution, and your fingerprints will be all over what this channel becomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in territory sales, agency development, or a channel-facing role in insurance or a related field
  • Proven track record of building pipeline from scratch and hitting your number consistently
  • Self-directed and ownership-oriented with a natural ability to build trust and move quickly
  • Thrives in a high-growth environment where the path is still being built

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, sign, and onboard new independent agency partners across your territory
  • Stay close to active agencies to make sure Sola is showing up in their daily sales conversations
  • Represent Sola at industry conferences and trade shows to build the network
  • Build and refine the systems and processes that make the agency channel run
  • Work directly with the founding team as we expand into new states and product lines
