About The Position

The Change Manager I, Enterprise Change Management Office, supports and leads change initiatives while helping support consistent use of enterprise aligned change management practices across assigned initiatives and business groups. This role applies structured change management methodologies to improve adoption, readiness, and business outcomes, while also supporting the use and ongoing refinement of Enterprise Change Management Center of Excellence tools, templates, standards, and capability-building resources. This position may support initiatives across multiple programs, workstreams, and business areas, depending on enterprise priorities and capacity needs. The role helps connect initiative-level change execution with enterprise change standards, shared tools, Communities of Practice, and ongoing leader and practitioner development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep knowledge & proven application of change management processes and tools including team member analysis & management, impact assessment, sponsorship engagement, change strategy and change story development for complex, large scale change initiatives
  • Excellent analytical ability to conduct, interpret, and make or influence decisions based on change management data
  • Excellent facilitation skills and knowledge of effective group dynamics concepts and processes
  • Excellent working knowledge and application of training and communications methodologies and best practices
  • Strong working knowledge of project management and other lifecycle methodologies
  • Strong ability to influence at the department/division level and across different layers of leadership
  • Strong skills in sponsorship coaching & alignment, resistance management, and behavior change
  • Substantial insurance business knowledge or shared services/consulting functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support organizational change efforts for moderate to high complexity initiatives across multiple functions or programs.
  • Develop change strategies and plans aligned to business goals, enterprise priorities, and the needs of impacted business partners.
  • Conduct impact assessments, team member analyses, and readiness assessments to inform practical, evidence-based change approaches.
  • Identify adoption risks, resistance patterns, readiness gaps, and change-related dependencies, risks, downstream impacts, and team member saturation, raising insights as appropriate.
  • Define, monitor, track, analyze, and report on adoption, utilization, engagement, readiness, benefit realization, and change effectiveness measures for assigned initiatives.
  • Apply enterprise change-management frameworks, standards, tools, and expectations to assigned initiatives.
  • Integrate change activities into broader program, portfolio, and workstream plans in partnership with project and program leadership.
  • Support consistent application of CSAA's change management approach while adapting appropriately to business parter needs, business context, and change risk.
  • Share lessons learned, delivery insights, team member feedback, and improvement opportunities to support enterprise change standards, capability-building, reporting, prioritization discussions, and continuous improvement.
  • Support Enterprise Change-Management Center of Excellence and Community of Practice activities by contributing to shared tools, templates, practitioner resources, reusable learning assets, facilitation materials, discussion guides, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Helps maintain a practical inventory of organizational change resources and examples that can be reused across programs, workstreams, and divisions.
  • Apply organizational change practices in ways that are scalable, transparent, and equitable, while avoiding unnecessary administrative burden.
  • Partner with business leaders, sponsors, project teams, and change practitioners to support effective change leadership behaviors.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on sponsorship, communication, reinforcement, and visible support for change.
  • Facilitate alignment across business partners to promote consistent messaging, coordinated execution, shared accountability for adoption, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adoption of enterprise change practices.
  • Design and support communication and training strategies that translate complex changes into clear, relevant, and audience-centered messages.
  • Partner with learning, development, project, and business teams to identify training needs and support readiness for impacted groups.
  • Contribute content, feedback, examples, facilitation support, reusable learning assets, job aids, and discussion guides that support change capability across the enterprise.
  • Support adoption planning by connecting communications, training, leader engagement, and reinforcement activities into a cohesive change approach.
  • Use data, team member feedback, and observations to refine change strategies, support improved outcomes, and identify where change management practices are creating value, are overly burdensome, or where simplification or additional support may be needed.
