About The Position

This role involves leading and supporting change management activities for utility clients, with a focus on technology implementation projects. The consultant will partner with client stakeholders to assess organizational impacts, identify change risks, and develop actionable change management strategies. Key activities include designing and delivering change plans, communications, stakeholder engagement, training support, and readiness assessments. The position also requires facilitating workshops and sessions to build alignment, collaborating with project teams, measuring adoption and readiness, and providing trusted advisory support to clients navigating transformation initiatives in complex utility environments.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to nature of client engagements.
High school diploma AND Seven (7+) plus years of post-graduation work experience; Or Associate's degree AND Five (5+) plus years of post-graduation work experience; Or Bachelor’s degree AND Three (3+) plus years of post-graduation work experience.
Post-graduation work experience in change management, organizational readiness, or related consulting roles.
Total work experience should include roles working with electric/power utility clients and roles supporting technology implementation projects.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence across diverse teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented consulting environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and process improvement skills.
Ability to travel.
Ability to work onsite in a Guidehouse Office or Client Office location.

Nice To Haves

Preference will be given to candidates currently residing within 50 miles of a Guidehouse Office listed.
Experience with large-scale technology transformation programs in the utility industry.
Experience developing training materials, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Experience in a consulting or management consulting environment serving external clients.
Change management certification, such as Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent.
Familiarity with utility operations, grid modernization, field operations, or enterprise systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, or hybrid delivery environment.

Provide trusted advisory support to clients navigating transformation initiatives in complex utility environments.
