About The Position

Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) is seeking a Change Management Specialist to develop and implement agency-wide change management strategies. This role supports the organization's transition to new governance and service delivery models, aligning change efforts with organizational values and project goals. The specialist will track progress, identify support needs, design and deliver training programs, and conduct change impact assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading, designing, and delivering organizational change programs and large-scale transformation initiatives within complex organizations, preferably within Indigenous, government, or social services sectors.
  • Experience working with First Nations organizations or communities is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Change Management designation or certification (e.g. CCMP, CMC, ACMP, Prosci, Kotter) is an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement agency-wide change management strategies that align with OCAP and the principles of Free Prior and Informed Consent that support the organization’s transition to new governance and service delivery models.
  • Align change management efforts with organizational values, principles, mandates, and project goals, ensuring successful implementation of new and redefined processes, technologies, and organizational structures across various departments.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms to track the progress of change initiatives across all programs, monitor implementation rates, and identify areas where additional support or mitigations may be required.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs to prepare employees and partners for upcoming changes, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Conduct detailed change impact assessments to understand the effects of changes on different departments, teams, and individuals within the organization, ensuring all programs are considered.
