The Change Management Lead is responsible for leading and advancing Energy Trust’s enterprise change management function within the Project Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an enterprise change management strategy that aligns with the Executive Team’s vision for staff’s experience of change—ensuring employees feel informed, supported, equipped, engaged, and recognized throughout organizational transitions. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving Energy Trust’s enterprise change management strategy, framework, and governance model. Reporting to the PMO Manager, the Change Management Lead provides strategic direction and operational oversight for change management practices across the organization. The role develops and maintains standardized methodologies, tools, templates, and dashboards grounded in Prosci’s ADKAR model, ensuring consistency in how change is planned, delivered, measured, and reinforced. The Change Management Lead partners closely with Organizational Development, Communications, and People Services to integrate change management into enterprise initiatives, cultural development efforts, leadership coaching, and communication strategies. The Change Management Lead will establish and grow Energy Trust’s change management team, including hiring and developing change management practitioners as organizational demand increases. The Lead may also engage and oversee contract or agency resources to address fluctuating demand or specialized change management needs, ensuring all resources operate within the enterprise change management framework and standards established by the Change Management Lead. In addition to leading the function, the Change Management Lead may directly guide high-impact or complex change initiatives, ensuring thoughtful planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and sustained adoption of new processes, systems, or behaviors. This position is expected to report to the Portland office quarterly at a minimum for all staff and other in-person meetings.
