The Change Management Lead owns the organizational change management strategy for the Finance Transformation program end to end. This role builds and runs the ADKAR-based approach that drives awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement across every impacted stakeholder group, from executive sponsors to venue-level staff, and defines the adoption metrics the program is measured against. It owns business readiness: assessing change impact across corporate and venue operations, setting readiness criteria for each deployment wave, and reporting readiness status that supports go or no-go decisions with evidence, not opinion. It owns adoption in practice: the training, the stakeholder communications, the Change Champion Network, and the reinforcement work after go-live that makes the change hold. The Change Management Lead is accountable for organizational adoption. This is not a support function to someone else’s plan.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in organizational change management on enterprise technology programs, including at least one ERP implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience driving adoption across a distributed or multi-site organization, not a single head office.
  • Working fluency in finance process. The ability to sit with a controller or an accounts payable processor and understand the work being described.
  • Experience recovering adoption on a system already in production, where users have formed habits and workarounds.
  • Ability to build and sustain a champion or super-user network with real business participation.
  • Ability to report unfavorable readiness status to executive stakeholders under schedule pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent certification, with the judgment to adapt the framework to the situation.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Sports, entertainment, hospitality, or venue operations.
  • Training content development and learning management system experience.
  • Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the organizational change management strategy for the Finance Transformation program, built on ADKAR principles across awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement.
  • Maintain an integrated change roadmap aligned to program milestones and deployment waves.
  • Define change management success metrics and adoption KPIs, and own reporting on them throughout the program.
  • Partner with executive sponsors to drive visible leadership engagement in the change.
  • Identify organizational adoption risks and build mitigation plans ahead of them becoming issues.
  • Lead change impact assessments across corporate and venue operations, covering business process, role, policy, and control impacts.
  • Build stakeholder impact profiles and readiness plans for each impacted function.
  • Define business readiness criteria for each deployment phase and rollout wave, and run readiness reviews with business leadership.
  • Track and report readiness metrics across stakeholders, departments, and locations, and support go/no-go decisions with that reporting.
  • Partner with business leaders to close readiness gaps before go-live, and own stabilization and adoption monitoring after it.
  • Build and lead the Change Champion Network across corporate and venue locations.
  • Own communication strategy tailored by audience, from executives to end users, and the training programs and materials that support adoption.
  • Ensure training reflects actual business process and system functionality, not generic content.
  • Measure training effectiveness and adoption through knowledge assessments and usage metrics, and establish the feedback loop that surfaces adoption risk from users.
  • Support adoption of new reporting capabilities and automation introduced through the transformation.
  • Own post-go-live reinforcement to sustain behavior change and protect the value the transformation is meant to deliver.
