Support special education teachers in creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities. This role involves working directly with students individually and in small groups to reinforce IEP goals and learning objectives, implementing accommodations and modifications, assisting with behavior intervention plans, supporting personal care needs as required, facilitating inclusion opportunities, supervising students during transitions, and performing other duties as assigned by the teacher or administrator. The position requires the ability to remain emotionally stable, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities and responding appropriately to student needs and unexpected situations.
