About The Position

This position is for PMU191-491Y1 Chamber Music - Brass, a course involving instruction in small ensemble performance. Requirements

• Graduate degree in performance or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of chamber music repertoire and materials.
• Active performance career.
• Demonstrated excellence teaching chamber music at the university level.

Nice To Haves

• In the interest of ensuring diverse coaching expertise, no instructor will be assigned more than one chamber ensemble.

Responsibilities

• Provide one hour of coaching each week with the assigned chamber ensemble.
• Attend scheduled masterclasses.
• Participate in the coaching and evaluation of students in the course.
• Arrange a suitable substitute if a conflict arises with attending a scheduled masterclass, in consultation with the Chamber Music Coordinators.
