About The Position

Perfect North Slopes Lift Operations staff play an important role in the daily business at Perfect North Slopes. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the safe uphill transport of all guests, by monitoring the safe loading and unloading of the lift, and confirming all guests have a valid lift ticket via our entry gates. Lift Operations staff members should have good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with the public, and be able to use simple technology systems.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 11/1/2026 to apply.
No prior experience is required.
All employees age 18+ will complete a background check upon hire.
Be ready to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must be able to walk on varied ground surfaces, shovel snow, and be on their feet for most of their shift (up to 9 hours).

Nice To Haves

Willingness to work early/late shifts, weekends, and some holidays (Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Years Day, MLK Day, President’s Day) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of lifts at lift entry points, including maintaining ramps, keeping the working area free of hazards, using speed controls and stop the lift when necessary to assist the guest while loading and unloading.
Provide a positive experience for visitors by communicating clearly, maintaining composure in complex situations, and being welcoming when assisting guests.
Act as ambassadors for Perfect North Slopes and abide by the code of conduct.
Keep accurate lift logs, use radios, tablet devices and telephones to communicate with other staff and managers about safety concerns as needed.
Work well in a team environment with other lift attendants, gate operators, and managers.
Behave professionally and maintain a positive attitude, while abiding to the code of conduct established at Perfect North Slopes.
