About The Position

This course follows and builds on the concepts from CH110 and prepares students for higher-level studies in the various subdisciplines of chemistry as well other university disciplines. Topics covered include properties of solutions, rates of chemical reactions, equilibria, entropy, free energy and electrochemistry.

  • Experience in the posted or substantially similar course
  • M.Ed. and experience in the posted or substantially similar course

Responsibilities

  • Teach CH111(C): Fundamentals of Chemistry II lecture portion.
  • Prepare students for higher-level studies in chemistry and other university disciplines.
  • Cover topics including properties of solutions, rates of chemical reactions, equilibria, entropy, free energy, and electrochemistry.
