WEIS is looking for a CGO Coordinator who is passionate about teamwork and the growth of its associates and communities. The associate will be responsible for greeting customers, providing prompt and courteous service, and assisting them in resolving concerns. This role involves maintaining the integrity of the CGO system throughout the store, investigating and resolving balance on hand issues, and utilizing required applications and technology related to CGO Operations. The coordinator will ensure all reports and records are accurate, complete, and retained according to company policy. They will make appropriate decisions based on reports to ensure optimum profitability, create daily pick lists, perform Out of Stock counts, and investigate reasons for stockouts. Additionally, the role includes investigating overstock items, creating secondary display settings, identifying and resolving planogram integrity issues, assisting with signage for out-of-stock merchandise, correcting balance on-hand inaccuracies, and maintaining a program for secondary product locations. The CGO Coordinator will also review salvage and transfer processes, work with the Regional CGO analyst to resolve issues, and ensure general sanitation in the department, adhering to cleaning schedules and department guidelines. All duties must be performed in accordance with company policies, laws, and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The associate may also be called upon to assist in other departments. This position indirectly supervises associates working in the department, with the specific number depending on store size.
