About The Position

The cGMP Compliance Handler is responsible for maintaining compliance with cGMP policies and procedures within the facility. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant working environment. The position requires flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The cGMP Compliance Handler will support the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) management system and adhere to the company's EH&S and Quality Policy.

Requirements

  • Must have the flexibility to work on other shifts or overtime when needed.
  • Must be able to perform job duties with minimal direct supervision.
  • Required to follow an established performance protocol in meeting customary work goals.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task and adjust to a variety of assignments.
  • Must consistently demonstrate effective teamwork behavior.
  • Ability to perform under conditions of continuous physical activity.
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs.
  • Must be capable of operating forklifts, trucks, scissor-lifts, lifting equipment and various hand tools.
  • Requires certification in Ariel Lift and Fall Protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Special training will be provided for Hazardous Waste Spill clean.

Responsibilities

  • Sweep debris, wash down walkways, stack pallets, and roll up hoses.
  • Perform work in non-accessible areas of the plant in compliance with cGMP policies and procedures.
  • Operate forklifts to empty trash dumpsters and pick up empty drums.
  • Perform cleaning of storm drains and dikes.
  • Label DOT drums.
  • Load Hazardous Material.
  • Perform pothole patching.
  • Install/hang signs.
  • Repair and clean rain gutters.
  • Repair window screens.
  • Replace missing/broken ceiling tiles.
  • Paint safety walkway lines.
  • Perform drywall and floor repair (not asphalt repair).
  • Hang new strip curtains or replace old ones.
  • Repair eye wash stations.
  • Repair and replace door handles/door closers.
  • Perform basic painting touch-up (no special equipment needed).
  • Perform light painting (no special equipment needed).
  • Clean up Hazardous Waste Spills (special training and supervision will be provided).
  • Effectively communicate safety and procedural issues with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Follow Company, state, and federal guidelines concerning safety and environmental protection.
  • Proper use of Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) conforming to cGMP standards.
