About The Position

The cGMP Facilities Compliance Handler is responsible for maintaining compliance with cGMP policies and procedures within various areas of the plant. This role requires flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed, with minimal direct supervision. The position demands a self-starter capable of multitasking and adapting to diverse assignments, while consistently demonstrating effective teamwork. The handler must be able to perform duties involving continuous physical activity and lift up to 50lbs. A key aspect of the role is implementing and supporting the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) management system and the company’s EH&S and Quality Policy.

Ability to lift to 50lbs.
Ability to implement and support the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) management system and the company’s EH&S and Quality Policy.
Ability to operate forklifts, trucks, scissor-lifts, lifting equipment and various hand tools.
Certification in Ariel Lift and Fall Protection is required.
Must have the flexibility to work on other shifts or overtime when needed.
Must be able to work in several areas of the plant.
Must consistently demonstrate effective teamwork behavior.

Nice To Haves

Special training will be provided for Hazardous Waste Spill clean-up and will be done under Environmental Engineer Supervision.

Responsibilities

Sweep debris, wash down walkways, stack pallets, roll up hoses, and perform work in non-accessible areas of the plant in compliance with cGMP policies and procedures.
Operate forklifts to empty trash dumpsters and pick up empty drums.
Perform California Clean duties, including cleaning of storm drains and dikes.
Label DOT drums.
Load Hazardous Material.
Perform Pothole Patching.
Install/hang signs.
Perform Rain Gutter Repair and cleaning.
Perform Window screen repair.
Replace missing/broken ceiling tiles.
Paint safety walkway lines.
Perform Drywall and floor repair (not asphalt repair).
Hang new strip curtains or replace old strip curtains.
Repair eye wash stations.
Repair and replace door handles/door closers.
Perform basic painting touch-up (no special equipment needed).
Perform light painting (no special equipment needed).
Perform Hazardous Waste Spill clean-up (special training will be provided and done under Environmental Engineer Supervision).
Effectively communicate safety and procedural issues with coworkers and supervisors.
Follow Company, state, and federal guidelines concerning safety and environmental protection.
Proper use of Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) conforming to cGMP standards is required.
